Eight shorts from the avant-garde filmmaker’s collection
Why are the films of George Landow so watchable? They’re pretty hilarious for one thing. The experimental filmmaker, who hit his stride in the ‘70s, is best known for using a ton of word play and parodies. We expected no less from the guy who rearranged his name into Owen Land mid-career (an anagram of Landow N.E). Here’s your chance to enjoy screenings of eight short films and even better, they clock in at less than an hour and a half. Short and sweet, just how we like it.
