Folk rock legends create stage magic once againEmerging halfway through the 1980s alongside the Replacements, Soul Asylum, Husker Du and Prince, folk quintet The Jayhawks helped put Minnesota on the musical map. The band’s now-signature sound wasn’t exactly country or rock n’ roll, but it nonetheless made them one of the most important bands of the post-punk era. Unafraid to fuse traditional rock and folk influences, The Jayhawks have racked up several albums and just as many memorable live performances over the course of their 20+ year career. This show is bound to be one of them. Trapper Schoepp to join.
