Poetry readings come to life in the bordelloYup, the Poetry Brothel is exactly what you think it is. In this world of vice and verse, poets play whores and the intimacy of the boudoir is swapped for that of a poem. Among the speakeasy’s most coveted courtesans? Columbia's Creative Writing Poetry Director Timothy Donnelly and Guggenheim Fellow, Terese Svoboda. The saloon's also got live tunes from The Piano Music and Song Trio, body painting, fortune tellers, burlesque, and until 9pm, complimentary La Fée Absinthe Parisienne. It’s the magic that Montmartre was made of.
