A folk opera extravaganza with a live score, aerial dance, and more
In most cases a play with mountains usually means a play about mountains, but in The World Is Round, that's just code for aerial dance, thrilling stunts, and the sort of stunning design that would make Frank Lloyd Wright shed a tear. Based on Gertrude Stein's wonderful work of the same name, the comedy follows young Rose as she climbs the mountain, looks for answers, and sings a joyous score. Who knew folk opera could be so much fun?
