The Artnet founder turns advertisements into artIf there's one thing this city isn't short on, it's stunning works of contemporary art. It also isn't short on billboards, advertisements, and department store flyers. New York artist Walter Robinson, who has previously exhibited pieces at MoMA, PS1, and The New Museum, has combined the two realms of art and advertisement to create a series of paintings based on snippets found around the city. With theatrical flare and impressive technique, this exhibit isn't one to miss.
