Academia meets adolescence in The Hill Town Plays

"The multi-night event presents a matchless opportunity to lose oneself in an artist’s world."

- New York Magazine
Lucy Thurber’s plays tend to hunker down on a few things: class divisions, gender politics, and blue-collar roots. This installment finds heroine Lily, fresh off her first semester at Amherst, back for a break from academia. Off-put by her small town stock, she seeks refuge in the home of her cousin (played by Christopher Abbott from HBO's Girls) and his girlfriend. Sure Lily’s path is crooked, but you can’t help but root for her. Directed by Jackson Gay. Best available seating allocated by the venue on arrival. Over 16s only.
