William Kentridge In Conversation With Norman Rosenthal

The distinguished curator and South African artist recount their careers

Many of the world’s most prolific artists owe a debt of gratitude to legendary curator Norman Rosenthal. As Exhibitions Secretary at the Royal Academy of Arts in London from 1977 to 2007, he was instrumental in curating several groundbreaking exhibitions that showcased talent like Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Sarah Lucas, Rachel Whiteread and Dinos and Jake Chapman, among others, to an international audience. In an engaging conversation with South African artist William Kentridge, the two discuss their work. Here’s your chance to discover the men behind the art.
