Liverpool's kings of rock go reggae
That's not a typo, you read that right, dubmarine. The Washington D.C.-based Yellow Submarine blurs the line of tribute with their whole heartedly original take on the boys from Liverpool. In tonight’s show, the seven-piece band are tackling the Beatles’ last album recorded together, Abbey Road (or in their casey, Abbey Dub). Think horns, slinky groove, a smooth mellow essence that wasn’t there before kissing the sounds of reggae. You’re in for a musical ride. Please note there is a $10 minimum per person per table not included in your ticket price. Full dinner menu available.
"It is similar enough to the original to appease hardcore Beatles fans, yet it is innovative enough to turn heads and shake booties. Skilled musicianship, masterful guest vocalists, and impeccable production... this disc is a knockout."
