You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet
Gallic icons reunite for this cinematic tour de force
Go ahead and feed your Francophilia. This 2012 film from Alain Resnais, the who’s who of French directors, hits all the right marks. Loosely based on the plays "Eurydice" and "Cher Antoine Ou L’Amour Raté," the film follows a band of veteran thespians who speak to a fictional playwright from beyond the grave. It makes for some classic experimental drama…and let’s be real, isn’t that what French film is all about? General admission. Please note that the film is in French with English subtitles.
"An elegant, moving and mischievous meditation on the passage of time and the tenacity of art."
