A one-man band live looping show
There are millions of reasons we’re huge Zach Deputy fans, not least of which include his zany lyrics (about collard greens and coconuts) and his knack for recording an album in less than a week. He routinely performs with four microphones and layers sounds upon sounds of reggae, gospel, and everything in between. His free-formed looping shows are kind of like improv for music; no two live shows are ever the same. All the more reason to go, right? Singer/songwriter Garrin Benfield will round out the bill. General admission. Over 21s only.
"A true soul singer, Deputy’s voice takes the listener back to a time before Stax and Motown, when the best music came piping out of back alley blue light districts, in the heat of a southern night."
