Time Out says
Only good things happen to Winston Smith. Or so he tells himself. As a life coach hoping to share his wisdom in a book, he’s just got one small hiccup: a negligence lawsuit. His daughter Joy is exhausted from holding everything together, until Winston whisks her away on a spontaneous road trip to County Mayo in search of their long-lost Irish roots.
Hopping on a converted school bus with questionable plumbing and mood lighting, they dodge the present by chasing the past. Sharp, tender and darkly funny, Fatherland is a debut play by Nancy Farino about family, chaos, and sometimes, the only way forward is through a snowstorm on the M6.
