While the phrase ‘modern British cuisine’ may be open to interpretation (what does it really mean? Deconstructed fish and chips?) one thing is really clear at The Clock N8. Quality produce is king. The menu here celebrates local farmers, seasonal ingredients and classic flavours that really remind you what our county’s cooking is all about. If you're looking for somewhere a little bit unique to eat, the restaurant is found, you guessed it, under the clock tower on Crouch End, providing a candlelight escape from city living. Treat yourself to a trip here and you’ll find a banging deal that’ll have you scoffing on the likes of Yorkshire 10 oz Sirloin steak, oxtail homemade arancini and roasted Barbary duck breast. Yes, it’s probably not as nostalgic as turkey twizzlers, but it’s probably better for you.
