Fill your brain with new knowledge or fall back in love with the lutenist, courtier and musical adventurer Nicholas Lanier. The concert itself will be following his travels from the Court of Charles I to the Venice of Claudio Monteverdi, bringing to life his various encounters along the way. You’ll be guided by Laurence Cummings and the Academy of Ancient Music as they serenade you from within Milton Court Concert Hall at Barbican Centre. It’s sure to inspire you to seek out even more of his music after the show is finished.
