We’ve been waiting for this one for a long time. It’s the long-awaited opener of Chris Haydon’s first season proper in charge of the Rose Theatre, with the head honcho taking directorial duties on Alys Metcalf’s brand new thriller. ‘Leopards’ looks at the nature of goodness, and charts a meeting between a celebrated charity leader and a young woman looking for career advice. It stars Saffron Coomber (‘Emilia’, ‘Small Axe: Lover's Rock’) and Martin Marquez (‘Hotel Babylon’, ‘Les Misérables’) and looks like it could be one of the hits of autumn 2021.
