As the sun goes down this summer, explore after hours at London Zoo for an unmissable evening that's just for adults. From 6 pm every Friday evening in June and July, you're invited to come and see the Zoo in a different light without the kids around. Explore a world of wildlife in the heart of the city with talks, games and over 8,500 amazing animals. After you’ve worked up an appetite, discover the street food market serving up fantastic flavours from across the globe, with plenty of choice for herbivores and carnivores. Then grab a drink from one of the watering holes or the cocktail garden and chill out surrounded by relaxing music.

Competition terms

• The Giraffe Encounter Experience will take place on a later date during the summer, with the date confirmed directly with the winner, subject to availability.
• Each valid ticket purchase for a qualifying event will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one Giraffe Encounter Experience for two people, worth up to £178, including zoo admission.
• Entries will be collected across all qualifying event dates, with one winner selected at random once the full event series has ended on 24 July, 2026.
• The winner will be contacted via the email address used at the time of purchase within 3 days of the draw taking place.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any alternative prize.
• If the winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
• The promoter reserves the right to amend, postpone, or withdraw the prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

• Please note animal exhibits will begin to close from 8.30 pm, with the majority closing at 9 pm.
