Inspired by Dickens‘s exuberant ‘Sketches by Boz’ and set conveniently in the Victorian surroundings of Wilton’s Music Hall, this brand-new production sees James Graham bringing together eight previously unproduced writers to paint an erratic mosaic of London life.

Without giving too much away, ‘Sketching’ is a uniquely crowd-sourced piece of theatre – when choosing which writers to help him, Graham asked for information about their gender, sexuality, class, race and religion. This has given him the scope to incorporate the broadest range of voices from across the London community.
