If Peckham is quite the south London destination these days, that’s in no small part due to the area’s awesome dining scene. And one of the real gems in these parts is Rye Lane’s Tupi.
This place’s ethos is all about getting the best produce and ingredients from the best suppliers across the capital, with a fusion menu takes inspiration from a number of cuisines – South American, Italian, European – and changes on a seasonal basis. The dishes here are innovative, playful – but most importantly of all, pretty damn tasty too.

Starters:
Truffle polenta and mushroom – truffle polenta topped with wild mushroom ragout
Little birds – crispy boneless chicken tights, mango and chilli gel
Squid and lime mayo – crispy squid, lime and herbs mayo
Piglets croquet – whole piglets croquette, sweet chilli sauce
Mains:
Mazonian ramen – slow cooked beef, noodles topped with rich spicy beef broth, tapioca pearls, soft egg, broccoli, mushrooms
Fishcake – sweet potato fishcake, broccoli, peas, poached egg, hollandaise
Butternut risotto creamy butternut and sweet potatoes risotto, topped with walnuts and stilton (vg on request)
Grilled lamb chops – lamb chops, with Jerusalem artichokes, smoked aubergine puree
Mushroom risotto – wild mushroom, mascarpone cheese, rocket
Picanha – rump cup steak, plantain, padron pepper, spicy concasse, jus
Linguine – spicy seafood linguine, with rocket cherry tomatoes.
Muqueca - Brazilian fish stew with prawns, mussel, cod, clams, coconut milk and chilli burrata tortelloni fresh tortelloni, stuffed with burrate black truffle, served with cherry tomatoes and basil sauce
Pappardelle al brasato - fresh pappardelle with ox cheek ragout
