Trader Vic’s is a London institution that’s been going since 1963, and is the original home of the mai tai cocktail. This tropical-themed, retro bar celebrates the era during which it opened, and is guaranteed to transport you out of the dreary capital and straight to the South Pacific with its rum-laced cocktails, Latin sounds and island decor. The walls and ceiling are even adorned with bamboo, straw mats and colourful prints and sculptures.
But it’s not just the setting that’ll woo diners, the Polynesian-inspired menu features an array of seafood, meat and veggie-based dishes, as well as some delicious-sounding puds.
