A Conversation On "Making A Murderer"

Defence attorneys Jerry Buting and Dean Strang discuss the hit TV show

Last year, a 10-part series named Making A Murderer appeared on Netflix and became one of the most popular, controversial and most widely-discussed documentaries ever. The show attempts to explain the situation surrounding Steven Avery, an American man repeatedly charged of crimes by his local police force, with very little evidence. After spending 18 years in jail for a crime he didn't commit, Avery is then arrested again for the rape of a young women. The programme follows the astounding revelations and bewildering runnings of that court case – in which shocking mistruths, misinformation, untruthful witnesses and much more are seen time and time again. Join Steven Avery's defence attorneys, Jerry Buting and Dean Strang, at the London Palladium for a discussion of the case and the unlawful behaviour of the American police and justice system in its treatment of Steven Avery. Suitable for mature (age 16+) audiences only, due to strong language and mature themes. Runtime: TBC.
