Once again, promoters Absent Kelly are bringing together a bill full of some of the best emerging bands on offer right now. Topping the bill is Cats On The Beach. This London quartet play alt/indie with a delightfully poppy undertone that has certainly got them noticed on their journey so far. The band’s latest EP “Yesterday’s Confetti” perfectly captures what they’re all about. Adam from The Punk Archive sums them up to a tee; “With post-punk energy and shambolic charm, Cats On The Beach are somewhere between Bob Dylan, Joy Division and The Libertines.” With praise like that, you’d be a fool to miss them.
