Absent Kelly Rock 'n' Roll Club returns to it's original home at Alleycat for another year of good times and great music with live bands and a resident DJ on the decks. After impressing at a previous show, Ali In the Jungle are back to top the bill. This indie quartet hail from Milton Keynes who mix in elements of pop, jazz and soulful vocals into their sound to give them a quirky, unique and oh-so-catchy sound. The band already have a name for themselves on their local scene, having played well known local venues including Bedford Esquires, but recently burst onto the London scene, making their debut at Islington's O2 Academy, with a follow up at 229 and they definitely impressed at both shows. The band are now looking to build on this great start and impress even more Londoners.
