Time Out says

We’ve teamed up with NERDS to host a fright fest that’s equal parts spine-tingling and silly. Think: comedy horror classics, in a ridiculously colourful setting, with lots of fun surprises. 

Addams Family Values (1993), Thursday October 30

A freaky family bands together in an attempt to save their uncle from his gold-digging, serial-killing wife who has an eye on his inheritance. 

Taking place at Vinegar Yard on six dates across October, the Trick or Sweet Film Club is curated by Time Out’s own film editor, Phil de Semlyen, and features an all-star selection of iconic Halloween films. 

Of course, the decor has to match the movies, so we’re going all-out with lots of fun surprises! We wouldn’t call it the Trick or Sweet Film Club for nothing…

Keen to come along? Start planning your costume now, because we’re going to be hosting a fancy dress competition, judged by Time Out. Our winner on the night will take home a NERDS bumbag, bucket hat, Nerds Gummy Clusters and some cinema vouchers. Nice one!

When and where? 

Trick or Sweet Film Club, with Time Out x NERDS, Thursday October 30 at Vinegar Yard. Tickets are £6.66… spooky! Doors open at 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. There’s a host of amazing food & drink for sale at the venue, and spooky surprises to explore.

Friday October 24: Little Shop of Horrors (1985)

An all-singing, all-dancing musical centred around a useless florist who raises a plant on human blood and flesh (it’s less gory than it sounds).

Saturday October 25: The Cabin in the Woods (2012)

This insanely clever horror satire, co-written with Joss Whedon, is packed with laugh-out-loud moments, peppered with mind-bending twists and the occasional jump scare.

Sunday October 26: Ghostbusters (1984)

Three scientists take the ultimate career pivot and begin to fight a series of evil ghosts terrorising folks across New York City. Come for the theme song alone. 

Friday October 31: Gremlins (1984)

Freaky little creatures cause mayhem and destruction across an American town, after one boy inadvertently breaks the key rules to keeping his mysterious yet disarmingly cute pet, Gizmo.

• Your ticket is valid for one entry to Addams Family Values at Trick or Sweet Film Club at Vinegar Yard on Thursday October 30.
• Please present your e-ticket on arrival. Ticket is only valid for selected time and date.
• This event is restricted to those aged 18 and over.
• Seating is unallocated and on a first come first served basis.
• Personal food & drink items cannot be brought into the event.

• Doors open at 6.30pm. Screening begins at 7.30pm.
