Renowned for his fusion of African and modern dance, Brown adds new flavour to his signature style, setting this work to recordings by Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. Following this is Paul Taylor's Piazzolla Caldera: a sensual exposé of tango as reinterpreted and reimagined with modern dance. Taylor honours the tradition of tango, preserving the essence of the form in his choreography. Concluding the evening is Ailey's legendary Revelations – the most seen modern dance work in the world.
