Anne Tanner has led an interesting life. The artist started life as a singer, before leaving Manchester Royal College Of Music and finding a new outlet for her creative talents. Her kinetic sculptures drew acclaim in the late '70s, inspired by a school project her daughter had taken home. Tanner's aluminium creations are characterised by geometric designs that are strangely beautiful.
