Without wishing to sound dramatic, there was something quite apocalyptic about the current political climate. William Patterson's Ball Bag, therefore, seems pretty relevant right now. The play follows a violent, populist movement which aims to fill the political vacuum left in the wake of a British, post-democratic apocalypse. Brace yourselves; it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
