The flamenco: beautiful, fiery, impassioned…it's a dance that is about life, death and love. Witness Spain's most prominent flamenco star Sara Baras take to the stage of Sadler's Wells with a new show that pays tribute to six flamenco luminaries who have greatly influenced her work. Directed, staged and choreographed by Baras, Voces pays homage to artists including Paco de Lucía, Camarón De La Isla and Carmen Amaya, all of whom have had an enormous impact on her as a performer. Set to exhilarating live music, Baras leads a company of 15 performers – including guest artist José Serrano – in a hugely entertaining show that captures all the emotion, drama and passion of flamenco.
