Bandstand Concert: Karama

Enchanting sounds from North Africa

Don't miss out again!

As part of their weekly series of outdoor concerts celebrating African music, The Horniman Museum and Gardens welcome Karama, an exciting band hailing from the northern-eastern reaches of Africa. Formed by Moroccan Oud player Soufian Saihi, Karama bring inspiration from the ecstatic Gnawa, North African and classical Arabic music, fusing these traditional elements with tropes from contemporary music. Tonight, their music will wander through the museum and gardens, including aquarium and exhibitions which will also be open. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
