Bandstand Concert: Kasaï Masaï

A musical journey to equatorial African

Kasaï Masaï bring the traditional sound of remote equatorial African villages to the 16 acres of beautiful gardens at the Horniman Museum. The band plays ancestral music which has been passed on from generation to generation, combining chanting with the majestic sound of the Congolese folk guitar. There is said to be a healing power hidden deep within the percussion, so leave the gardens feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for the rest of the week. The Horniman Museum's galleries and exhibitions will also be open. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
