On the 23rd June the iconic Finsbury Square is going to be turned on its head as it plays host to the Barefoot Bowls Mid-Summer Challenge; a 21st century production aimed at breathing life, colour and fun back into the quintessentially British game of lawn bowls. Ludicrous you may think, but combining a fast, simple form of the age old game, with pop-up bars, exotic street food vendors, live DJs and much, much more, Barefoot Bowls have created an outdoor experience like you won’t have experienced before. Nothing serious, nothing personal - this one’s for the young, fun and sociable who want to be a part of something wholly different in the summer sunshine. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Gates open at 5:15pm - Arrive at the North West Gate of Finsbury Square with your team mates in plenty of time.
