For one night only the ActiveAce Arena in Nottingham is going to be turned into a bowling oasis as it hosts the Official Nottingham Launch event of Barefoot Bowls, a 2016 production aimed at breathing life, colour and fun back into the quintessentially British game of lawn bowls. In case you don’t know, Barefoot Bowls combines a fast, simple form of the age old game, with pop-up bars, exotic street food vendors, live DJs and much much more, to create an outdoor experience like you won’t have experienced before – nothing serious, nothing personal – this one’s for the young, fun and sociable who want to be a part of something wholly different in the summer sunshine this June. Session time: - 6:30pm to 7:15pm - 7:20pm to 8:05pm - 8:10pm to 8:55pm Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Golden Bowls reserves the right to refuse entry.
