Rachmaninov’s Spring cantata is a thrilling piece of music, but it's not the only classical work the BBC Symphony Orchestra will be sinking its teeth into. Nielsen’s Symphony No.2 and Busoni’s Piano Concerto are also part of the programme, giving pianist Garrick Ohlsson a chance to show off his mesmerising dexterity. Sakari Oramo conducts and the BBC Symphony Chorus add their weight to an enthralling night of live music. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
