Beacon Bingo: Midnight Horror Screenings

Watch a spine-chiller in suitably atmospheric surroundings...

The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show, which screens great films in unique locations, will be showing two classic horror films on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May. The venue is the historic Streatham Hill Theatre, now the Beacon Bingo Hall, in Streatham. It's filled with dark, forgotten rooms and corridors where anyone or anything can hide... On Friday, they’ll be showing the original Friday The 13th. On Saturday, it will be the Stanley Kubrick classic, The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson. The venue, originally built in 1928 and seating over 2,000 people, is a listed building with incredible architecture. It'll be a very rare opportunity to see inside the old theatre and watch a spine-chiller in the suitably atmospheric surroundings. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. All tickets include a free pint of popcorn. Doors: 11pm. Film starts: 12am.
