Beyond The Fence marks a new age in the evolution of musical theatre: the first show in the world to be conceived and substantially crafted by a computer. Modelled on a statistical study of the recipe for success in hit musicals, this is an experimental approach to musicals never attempted before. Telling a tale of hope, defiance, unity and love, it follows Mary and her daughter George, who are celebrating one year at the Greenham Common peace camp. When Mary is faced with losing George, she finds an unlikely ally in US Airman Jim Meadow, but is a faced with a new dilemma: how can she continue to do what is best for her daughter while staying true to her ideals?
