Bumblescratch

A new musical from Robert J Sherman

For one night only, witness a special gala charity concert commemorating the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London at the Adelphi Theatre. Bumblescratch is a new musical comedy set in London during the Great Plague of 1665 and the Great Fire of 1666, told from the perspective of a demented, lascivious plague rat named Melbourne Bumblescratch,. Bumblescratch demonstrates his twisted love affair with the ancient city through marvellously gruesome tales. This major West End concert presentation – featuring a stellar lineup – is staged as part of commemorations for the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London. Bumblescratch is penned by Robert J Sherman, who is continuing the enduring legacy of his father and uncle, Robert B and Richard M Sherman, aka The Sherman Brothers, the songwriting duo behind childhood classics including Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book. It is directed by Stewart Nicholls, who also collaborated with Robbie Sherman on the critically acclaimed Love Birds and A Spoonful of Sherman. All ticket prices for Bumblescratch are inclusive of booking fees: YPlan will not charge you any additional amounts for your tickets. When booking tickets, you can pick your seat from the seatmap once you've selected a date. For your comfort and security, you may be subject to additional checks on your visit to London theatres. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while these take place. Valid ID required for ticket collection. West End theatre ticket sales are final and bookings cannot be amended, exchanged or refunded (unless of course the performance is cancelled). All listed offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time.
