What do Venice, Rio and New Orleans have in common? They know how to throw a carnival. But as we appreciate they are a bit out of reach, we thought it might be best to bring them closer to you.
Head down to the Horniman Museum for a night of performances celebrating carnival traditions from around the world, from Brazil to Venice. Brush up on your samba moves, take part in a Venetian Ball in the Victorian Conservatory, and take a trip to New Orleans with the music of the Brass Volcanoes.
Over 18s only. Arrive at the main museum entrance from 6:30pm and join the carnival.
