Carousel Presents: Four-Course Meal By Bjorn Van Der Horst

Carousel is a restaurant set in the heart of Marylebone and culinary hub of emerging chef talent. The current resident chef is Bjorn van der Horst. Having learnt his craft in the kitchens of chef titans Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse, Bjorn’s glittering résumé boasts time spent in the kitchens of restaurant legends Picholine (New York), Gaia (Connecticut) and The Greenhouse in London’s Mayfair. After taking a break to work on charity and development projects in Tanzania, Bali and Indonesia, Bjorn is now raring to get back behind the pass, starting with two weeks at Carousel. Bjorn will be showing the young guns how it’s done with an exciting menu of big flavoured, family-style sharing plates. Menu preview: - poached eggs infused intravenously with chicken jus on new season’s asparagus - braised veal shanks served bone side up with a little teaspoon for digging out the marrow The secret location will be revealed after booking…but we can tell you now that it's somewhere in Marylebone. An optional 12.5% service charge will be added to your final bill.
