There may be a little bit of animosity between England and Scotland, but it's all really just a bit of a friendly international banter. Don't tell anyone, but deep down we're actually really fond of our neighbours up north. So why not celebrate all things above Hadrian's Wall with a night of traditional Scottish dancing. There's a live band to dance to, plus no experience is necessary as there'll be a caller who will guide you through the steps. With a cloakroom and bar at the venue you don't need to worry about anything. There's no dress code either (although tartan is appreciated, and you'll look great in it).
