Hand made Christmas presents, festive food and jazz music


This December, Greenwich Peninsula is celebrating the Christmas season with its first Makers’ Market. The Market will see a selection of makers and craftspeople exhibit crafts and jewellery in one of the capital’s most exciting new districts, amongst festive food, drink, and live jazz. The Makers’ Market, presented by NOW Gallery, will see eighteen skilled makers and craftspeople exhibit ceramics, jewellery and leather goods to create a perfect Christmas present buying experience. Shoppers will also be able to able to sign up to wreath making session and children’s activities. As part of the festive experience, market-goers will be able to indulge in a number of seasonal delicacies, including traditional mulled wine and mince pies. Visitors to the market will also have the opportunity to see Alex Chinneck’s renowned outdoor upside-down pylon sculpture, A bullet from a shooting star, or his curled-up pylon, Straight jacket star jumps, inside NOW Gallery. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed.
