Clapham Fringe: Swan Song

In a world of mists, a narrator must win his freedom by recounting his tale

Guy Cout remains an enigmatic figure running from a past he cannot escape. The darkness continues to pervade but as it begins to overwhelm him, he seeks a refuge in a strange encounter. An interpretative twist on Waiting for Godot, Swan Song explores the spaces where different worlds collide; between the public and the private, the secret and the provocative in a life story marred by perfection. David Stanton plays Guy Cout. David studied PPE at Oxford University where his passion led him to the theatre. He has directed the Taming of the Shrew, which won several plaudits for its distinct "Southern" take on the Shakespearean play. Zachary Latif plays the Counsellor. Zachary is a trustee of the Tamasha board, which is a leading British Asan theatrical charity and was responsible for East is East. Latecomers may not be admitted.
