What is it?
Picture the scene: you invite friends over for a drink (or four). Maybe, you’d offer them a glass of wine, a beer, a gin and tonic if you’re feeling fancy. So far, so normal. But what if instead, you mixed them a complex, well-balanced, completely delicious cocktail? Friend, it’s time you made that possibility a reality. For just £5, you could take part in this cocktail-making class from our friends at Hidden Door Events focussed on making your own cocktail syrups.
When is it?
6.30pm-8pm on February 22 & March 2.
Why buy?
At this session at Samsung KX, you’ll learn how to make a Tea Shirt Weather: an oh-so-sophisticated blend of burnt orange and Assam tea syrup and fresh lemon, with Yardhead whiskey and topped with soda. You’ll also create a Winter Citrus Sour, with citrus syrup (which you’ll learn to make from scratch, of course), plus Whitley Neill Connoisseurs Cut gin and Cointreau shaken and served with a lemon rind. Oh, and your ticket gets you a gin and tonic on arrival. Cheers!
This fun and boozy event is part of Time Out’s latest series of classes, workshops and more at the cultural hub Samsung KX. Find out what else is in store, from hula hooping to coding, here.
