Mehrdad Farid leads The Collaborative Orchestra in a programme devoted to all things Finnish. At its heart is the virtuoso playing of violinist Alina Hiltunen. The Finnish-born star will be performing on the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jean Sibelius. To mark the occasion, the orchestra will play the Finnish composer’s stirring Karelia Suite and Symphony No 2. Please arrive on time as latecomers may not be admitted.
