Comedy At The Hippodrome: Howard Read, Matt Reed + More

A selection box of alternative comedy and cabaret

Join the extraordinary, avant-garde machine-gun comedy magician and vaudeville impresario Christian Lee as he invites the best cabaret stars and the comedy elite from the four corners of the world. Recent Semi finalist of Britain’s Got Talent, Christian took the panel by storm with his signature balloon trick. Lineup: - Howard Read Howard Read is a comic, writer, animator and actor, in that order. He is best known for being one half (and the other half), of the Big Howard, Little Howard, the world’s first human cartoon double-act. He is also an acclaimed stand-up comic, writer, author, illustrator and animator. As a Stand up Howard Read is brilliantly off the wall. Totally silly, songs and jokes and stupidness. The man is a buffoon of the highest order. And in this business that is a good thing. - Matt Reed: Born and bred in Sunderland, Matt’s affable style has won him fans across the UK. He effortlessly plays with the crowd with a natural rapport that is found in few comics. With so many gigs of every size under his belt, from 3000 to 30, there is pretty much no comedy situation Matt can’t handle. Having played all the major clubs in the country, Matt is now also in great demand as MC for music festivals, burlesque nights and corporate occasions. As pleasant as he is wonderfully brutal, Matt is a welcome addition to any comedy night entertaining the crowd while skillfully destroying any heckler that crosses his path. - Glenn Wool Glenn began his comedy career in his hometown of Vancouver in 1995.
