The relationship between comedy and jazz goes deep. Way back when, comedians like Bill Cosby were big supporters of jazz, and this crossed over into the variety talk show TV format. Tonight, Vikki Stone brings the funny with lots of energy and oodles of pop culture references; her shows have sold-out Edinburgh, London's Soho Theatre, and more. The jazz is in good hands, too, with UK magazine cover star Tom Cawley bringing his A game.
Here are some typical highlights of the ever-changing menu:
- sun-dried tomato and basil-crusted salmon fillet
- grilled cumberland sausages with a red wine-infused gravy and creamy mashed potatoes
- spiced sweet potato and black bean burger, with Greek yoghurt, honey, and mixed leaves
