Calling all gamers! Ever wanted to design your own video game character? Now’s your chance. Join our interactive workshop and step into the dream job of a game creator to bring your imagination to life.

It’s hosted by Yusif Ali, founder of Gaymers iNC, which creates inclusive gaming spaces, VP, one of the hosts of 90s Baby Show, and Roxanne Marshall, a talented games producer who counts Riot Games, Futurlab and Fribbly Games on her enviable CV.

Taking place at Samsung KX, you’ll work together as part of a creative team to design a character inspired by cult titles like Final Fantasy and Pokémon using advanced HeroForge software on a range of innovative Samsung tablets and devices. 

The evening concludes with a ‘show and tell’ session where votes are cast by everyone to elect their favourite designs. Who’ll come out on top? Game on, we say.

Need to know

• Your ticket is valid for one entry to Create Your Own Video Game Character Workshop with Time Out x Samsung KX in London.
• To get the most out of the session, please set up your HeroForge account ahead of the event — that way you can dive straight into the fun when we start!
• Please present your e-ticket on arrival. Ticket is only valid for selected time and date.
• Kindly note that this event is strictly 18+.
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time as the event starts promptly at 6.30pm.
• Each ticket purchased includes entrance to the event. All necessary materials will be provided for the workshop.
• Samsung devices are loaned as part of the workshop and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Specific models provided may vary.
• Refreshments will be provided with each ticket with vegetarian & vegan options available, but please note that specific dietary requirements cannot be catered for at the event.
• Seating is unallocated.
• Once sold out additional tickets will not be available for purchase on the door. All tickets must be purchased online.
• Samsung KX is an access friendly venue – if you require any suitable adjustments please let a member of staff know upon arrival.
