The Crystal Palace International Film Festival bring you the best in feature film, shorts, animation and documentary, from a submission pool of filmmakers based all round the world. Founded in 2009, their rich and diverse programme, commitment to global and independent filmmakers and prestigious panel of judges – from award-winning comedian Johnny Vegas to Neville Astley, creator of Peppa Pig – makes the CPIFF a truly exceptional experience and celebration of film. Running order: - Devil Makes Sow directed by Guy Soulsby. The devil’s twisted view of humanity. Running time: 7 minutes. - 20 Hz directed by Chris Keller. Human hearing is capable of detecting sound waves between 20 and 20,000 Hz… merely a small fraction of the frequency spectrum. Most sounds around us go unnoticed. Running time: 5 minutes. - The Prey directed by James Webber. After an argument with her boyfriend, Mel ends up alone in the wrong side of town. Determined to walk home alone she draws the attention of a shifty looking young man. Running time: 9 minutes. - Many more on the night. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Doors open at 7pm and films start at 7.45.
