The Crystal Palace International Film Festival bring you the best in feature film, shorts, animation and documentary, from a submission pool of filmmakers based all round the world. Founded in 2009, their rich and diverse programme, commitment to global and independent filmmakers and prestigious panel of judges – from award-winning comedian Johnny Vegas to Neville Astley, creator of Peppa Pig – makes the CPIFF a truly exceptional experience and celebration of film. Running order: - After the Argument directed by J.D.Hampton Harold has upset his girlfriend and he doesn’t know why. Running time: 4 minutes - The Lotus Gun directed by Amanda Milius It’s 2077, there are no laws or weapons. Nora and her lover, Daph, live an idyllic life in a rugged landscape. When a stranger arrives and Daph disappears, Nora has to go to extreme measures to get back what is hers. Running time: 25 minutes - Litter Bugg directed by Amber Jo Weedon Dustin constructs his life from litter, including friend Morris. When society sees fit to take this away, Dustin embarks on a surreal journey to claim it back. Running time: 15 minutes - Many more on the night Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Doors open at 7pm and films start at 7.45.
