This week Jason is delighted to welcome Dave O'Higgins, an encyclopaedic saxophonist with an apparently effortless flow of coherent ideas, elegant time and a highly developed harmonic sense that lifts the ordinary into extraordinary. Right from his early career Dave has worked with the best-known names in jazz, with Cleo Laine and the John Dankworth Quintet, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Martin Taylor, Stephane Grappelli, Billy Childs, Eddie Gomez, Darius Brubeck, Jason Rebello and Jim Mullen representing just a small sample. A prolific composer, arranger and producer, he has 17 solo albums to his credit in addition to the sessions and collaborations he's undertaken with a range of other well-known names, including Incognito, Annie Lennox and Peter Gabriel. 1) We operate a Check-21.
