David Batchelor is displaying 500 images of white squares he came across over a period of 20 years. Put together as a multi-screen installation, the pictures are random and sourced from Batchelor's journeys. They form a map of the artist's expeditions and explore the concept of abstraction. In the artist's own words, abstract art is the art of the city and monochrome is its exemplary form.
