Led by artist and teacher Dan Whiteson and designed for all abilities, this will be a heady mixture of art history, drawing, performance and culinary delights from the revered Carousel kitchen. From Edgar Degas to the Italian Futurists, conveying movement has always been a fascination for artists. This class will look at the different approaches taken throughout history to create dynamism in art, before giving students a special opportunity to make their own bold compositions working from dance. Class schedule: - One hour of art history and experimental drawing exercises - One hour lunch - Two hours of life drawing from dance Over 16s only. Valid ID may be required.
