The concept for the Disco Box is simple, they play the music you want to hear over four floors, in a intimate but cool, new, late-night Soho venue – Soho Square. Floor 1 is disco, floor 2 is house, floor 3 is R&B, hip-hop and club classics, and floor 4 is a guest party each week, to keep things fresh and fun. Plus, get your first drink free. Just off Oxford Street, at the Gateway to Soho, and standing proudly on the corner of the historical Soho Square, the beautiful Art Deco bar and club has witnessed many things in its time and now it plays host to the Disco Box each and every Saturday night. Terry Farley Terry Farley is a bona fide UK house legend. Having been on the dance-floor since day dot, he has produced some of house music’s most enduring cuts under various guises. A bastion of knowledge when it comes to acid and deep house, Terry is also much lauded for having launched house music fanzine, label and party series, Boys Own, back in the day: it went on to document and dictate the trends of the time. Terry is a learned selector with old school values who can really make dance-floors move with a whole range of sounds. Now very much a scene curator and archivist as much as an enduring DJ talent, when Terry Farley’s in the house, everybody listens. Four floors. Four unique identities. Are you ready for the box?
